Welcome to Sedes Sapientiae Council at University of Maryland!

Congratulations and welcome to our council! We hope you will get actively involved in our council and the Catholic Student Center through your membership in the Knights of Columbus.

Steps for New Members:

• Apply to join our Email List Serv and Facebook Group.
• For the Google group, please put your name in the "Nickname" field so we know that email address is yours. We'll approve you right away.
• Pay your annual dues to the Treasurer. Dues are $25 per fraternal year. (The Initiation Fee is $10 and covers your first year's dues).
• Get involved! Sign up for a committee and volunteer for service events. Attend our monthly business meetings and social events.
• Take advantage of the KofC Insurance program.
• New Members can start an annuity for only $100. After your first year of membership, the minimum rises to $300.
• Continue to advance to full membership and Knighthood in the Third Degree. Also Consider taking the 4th Degree, you are eligible after being in the order for six months and achieving full Knighthood in the Third Degree.
